Here in the western washington the winters are very grey and wet. It can feel like its been forever since you’ve seen the sun. When the first warm sunny day of spring appears it brings so much joy.  I cant get enough of the warm sun, sounds of the birds, and first signs that nature is waking up.

 

Daffodils always make me smile. They are always so bright, cheery, and display a breath of new life. I love to find the beauty in the weeds like daisies and dandelions as well. Growing up I would make daisy crowns, and blow the dandelions in the wind to make a wish. I always get extra excited when I see the first bees waking up for the year. Emerging from their hide out, trying to find some sun after the cold winter.
